Firefighter Injured in PA Garage Fire

Two people were injured this morning in a garage fire in the 300 block of Speece Lane, Middle Paxton Township, Dauphin County.
One man who was hurt was welding inside the building, Warren Truck & Auto Services, when the fire began, according a family member. The other person hurt was a firefighter who suffered second-degree burns on his arms and shoulders.
A cause of the fire has not been determined, but a state police fire marshal will be on the scene. The fire severely damaged the truck-repair business, owned by James, Bob and Steve Speece.
Firefighters had trouble getting water to the rural area. They ran a hose from a pond a quarter- to a half-mile away
